Therefore, we must treat the source of the concern in order to reverse your symptoms and give you the healthiest physical body possible.

Why the Following Therapies are Essential for Musculoskeletal Healing to Occur:

We need to understand the cascade of events that causes musculoskeletal symptoms (and musculoskeletal disease). Chronic Contraction (aka Tension) of connective tissue (muscle, tendon, and ligament) causes calcium release. Normal exercise contraction and lengthening results in normal calcium release in exercise. However, aging of connective tissue results in chronic contraction…..leading to EXCESS calcium release (hardening occurs). Specifically at the periosteal attachment sites where tendon and ligament attach to bone. This is the location where excess calcium deposits occur resulting in hardening of connective tissue and stiff joints, which as a result of this hardening (stiffening) process, inflammation happens. Why? Because this results in decreased blood flow. Inflammation reduces and compresses nerve supply. This results in discomfort. Therapy is required to reverse this cascade of events that is every day occurring in your musculoskeletal body. The following therapies do ALL of the below:

1. Increase NEW Blood Flow thereby decreasing stagnant inflammation
2. Decreasing Inflammation increases the nerve and blood supply to the surrounding tissues….resulting in increased oxygen and nutrients that the tissues need in order to become healthy again.
3. Our therapies dissolve calcium deposits. Thereby reducing the disease known as osteoarthritis which affects most of the middle aged to elderly population.
4. Our therapies REMOVE the contraction from within the connective tissue fibers thereby LENGTHENING the connective tissue. When we remove the contraction, we STOP the continued calcification process. Thereby preventing further calcium build up that leads to degenerative joint disease (aka osteoarthritis).

2. Combination Therapy
This therapy includes ultrasonic diathermy with a LOW Volt AC muscle stimulators that produce pulsation, tetanize, surge, and reciprocal output. It is a combination therapy that includes ultrasound, diathermy, and muscle stimulation. The combination of these therapies provides the musculoskeletal system with all of the requirements necessary to produce the best results. The diathermy component super stimulates new blood flow deep into the tissues. You will be able to feel the deep thermal effect and visibly see vast amounts of new blood flowing in to the treated areas. The electrical stimulation super stimulates all of the surrounding nerves that innervate the muscular and organ system. The most powerful ultrasound in the industry slowly relaxes the stiffened contractions within each fiber that makes up the surrounding connective tissue. 4. *NEW* TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE CUPPING THERAPY
Cupping is a method of creating a vacuum on the patient’s skin to dispel stagnation (stagnant blood and lymph). Where there is dead, static blood, lymph, cellular debris, pathogenic factors, and toxins present in the body, Cupping can leave marks which indicates that the stagnation or disease has been moved from the deeper tissue layers to the surface. This allows healthy free circulation to be restored to the affected area, thus creating space for oxygen, living cells and nutrients for faster recovery. 5. Gua Sha therapy
Is based on the theory of Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). With our specially designed tools we can get the purpose of promoting blood circulation and dredging meridians. With the skin being scraped by a gua sha tool, the skin will be raised which is called ‘sha’ in chinese and the “sha” will fade within 2 or 3 days. Byraising sha, the capillaries will be highly dilated and it will enhance the sweat secretion and circulation of the blood. It will help to remove blood stagnation which is considered pathogenic and promote body metabolic processes. Gua sha has immediate effect for Hypertension, stiffness, heat stroke, fever, cough, chill, nausea, and muscle pain. The patient will experience immediate relief after gua sha therapy. This therapy in combination with far infrared heat therapy, physiotherapy, and chiropractic is highly effective.
